Blue Monday Update

This week I’ve: -           Finished reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone in French. You can read all about it here . -           I worked a bit in my home and I shared my experience so far here .   Next week I’ll share my renovation story room by room. I’m hoping to finish some more reading, hopefully some classics. I also want to practice my French a bit more and maybe see the first Harry Potter movie in French. I also hope to go on a walk in nature with my hubby, somewhere remote considering the current lockdown rules.

Blue monday update

Another busy week, another blue Monday. This was what I was able to accomplish this week. -           I wrote a book review about Mr. Bliss by Tolkien, you can read all about it here . -           I’ve read some other books too. I’m seeing some progress with Dune. But it’s been a long time since I’ve read these type of big books. So I takes me a bit longer to get through it. But so far so good. -           I’ve created a blogpost about Instagram for blogging newbies you can read all about it here . Since the Covid-19 infections are rising a lot here in Belgium, I didn’t go out this weekend, as it probably isn’t so safe. The government made some restrictions for bars and restaurants for a month, but they were placed in action today, which probably meant lots of people went out to have a drink or party last weekend. So we probably wouldn’t ha...

Blue Monday(or Tuesday) update

Sorry for the later post this week. My son’s teeth are coming through, most parents know what that means😋, so he asks for some extra care since he’s a bit more upset. This was what I was able to accomplish last week.: -           I wrote a review about The Tempest by Shakespeare. You can read all about it here . -          This weekend I’ve read lots of books, since I’ve been stuck in the sofa with my son. I could only soothe him by keeping him close to me, so adorable. Better enjoy this time while it still lasts, as he probably won’t want to hug me anymore in his teen years, lol.😂 One book was definitely worth writing a review about and that was Mr. Bliss by J.R.R. Tolkien. So I’m collecting my thoughts about it to give a review about it next week. -           I’ve collected some tips for you on how to use Goodreads for your blog. It’s a mini for dum...

Blue Monday Update

This week was a less productive one, but I managed to do the following:   -           I read the classic The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. You can read all about it here . -           I did some research about Pinterest and how to use it for my blog. I placed the best tips I’ve found in this article here .   Next week I’m going to post about Goodreads, in the same series as in the Pinterest post this week. I’m going to collect my thoughts on the book I’ve read: The Tempest by Shakespeare. I’m not going to plan too far ahead yet, I’m going to see what I’ll be able to accomplish this week.

Blue Monday update

This week I was able to complete the following: - I completed my trip to Schilde. You can read all about it here .  - I completed my cookie challenge, but I failed it. You can read all about my horrible cookies here . - I did lots of research for my social media(Pinterest, Bloglovin' and Instagram), but I'll be placing the best tips and tricks I've found in some blog post next week. It's a lot, so I want to create some articles that get a bit more to point. - I'm almost done with my excel courses. I might make an article next week with some useful schedules you can download.  So this week was busy, but productive. I'm setting lots of goals for next month, which you can read all about here

Blue Monday update

This week I was able to complete following: - I finished reading Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). You can read my review here . - I finished the third part of my cookie challenge. You can read all about it here . - I've started decluttering my appartment. but I'll post a blogpost around this when everything's done. I was hoping to finish the third part of my trip to Schilde, but the weather got in the way. The day I was able to go with my family, it was too hot. It was around 26°C/79°C. For me that's too warm, I usually stay indoors with any temperature above 25°C/77°F, because I'm very sensitive for the heat. Summer is therefore my least favorite season. I'm hoping it'll be better next week, as I hope to finish this trip. Next week I hope to finish some more reading, the last trip to Schilde and the cookie challenge. I also hope my appartment is going to look a lot cleaner by then.

This week I was able to complete the following:   -           I’ve started the ‘learn how to bake cookies’challenge with the first part of four: the very lazy cookies. you can read all about it here . -          French: I’ve finished the first seven Duolingo lessons. You can follow me  here .   Do you want to know how to learn French for free, check it  here . -          To Kill a Mockinbird by Harper Lee: I’m at page 100. It reads a bit slow. It probably has something to do with the fact that it’s written in 1960 and that it uses some dialect from the South of the US. I’ve read most of my books in English, even though it isn’t my native language, but I need to put some effort into this one. The other classics will probably be like this too, but I’m up for the challenge. -          I finished the ...
